About Us

Simonda Edge was formed in 2012 and has been providing specialist consultancy services to clients across multiple industry sectors for over ten years. Dave Edmunds, the founder and lead consultant has over thirty years experience helping organisations successfully deliver technology change. After training as a Business Analyst with a large Insurance company, Dave held a number of leadership roles before joining a Managed Service Provider to set up and run Change Management and Transition functions across services to multiple external clients.

Dave then decided to move to providing independent consultancy, helping organisations successfully and safely deliver technology change to support transformations, rationalisations and product developments.

Over the past ten years, Simonda Edge has partnered with many organisations, delivering successful outcomes including:

  • Creation of IT Service Support and Delivery capability for a new UK start up Bank
  • Establishment of IT Support capability for the introduction of “smart” ticketing on a major UK tram network
  • Creation of a global service capability to support the UK launch of an international rail service provider
  • Design and introduction of a federated internal/external service capability to support the transformation and re-launch of a large UK supermarket loyalty scheme
  • Integration of existing IT capabilities and processes to support the merger of a UK Bank and Building Society
